while still working with some 2500 files from last Friday’s doctoral awards ceremony from the City Hall, we got to know that we are going to photograph some 90 delegates of the Österåker community, and a reportage of the works that take place at the Albano area near Stockholm University.
Yesterday morning we signed the contract for having the honour to photographing the Nobel-weeks festivities again this year, for the third year on the row!
A new cooparation with an other major University in Sweden is almost ready, and we are starting to cooparate with the QT-albums company for printed albums.
Three of our summer-wedding couples contacted us about their delivered photos, with comments of the like “WOW-vilka fantastiskt bearbetade bilder! … Det kommer bli ett nöje att skicka ut tackkorten!”. Karin and Kent booked us for next July to photograph their wedding, because they liked so much our photos from Karin’s brother’s wedding day some years ago. And talking about weddings, we also got an email that the couple whose wedding we shall photograph at the Icehotel in March are coming from Lund (;-) ) to meet us this weekend.
Add to all this the usual work with answering at emails, processing and printing photos for different customers and taking smaller assignments for companies and magazines, and it is easy to understand why we missed to celebrate our 10-years’ – since we started our company – annivesrary, last Tuesday!
It was almost a year after i had moved to Sweden to live with Mia, as well as almost a year since Mia had stopped working at the photo department of the University as an employee there and had started on her own, when we desided to continue together and registrated our new company. A litlle unsecure and stressed in the beginning we were ( well, rather a lot!), but it turned out well!
We have met a lot off wonderfull people during all these years, customers as well as photo-colleagues, we have photographed persons and places that we could not even dream that we could come close to, we have travelled a lot in the counrty and abroad, and the most important: we have had unbelievable fun all these years! We really feel ourselves privileged for having this job!
Thank you to all of you for making these years so special to us! We are really looking forward to the coming years for new challenges, even more people to meet and to continuing getting the same joy from that we are working with! Thank you from our hearts!
